Bonanno Named to 2014 IWLCA North-South All-Star Game
GRAND LAKE, CO - The IWLCA has honored 132 senior student-athletes with selection to one of the 2014 North-South rosters, announced Tuesday. Roanoke College women's lacrosse player, Allison Bonanno was named to the USILA Division III South Squad.

Bonanno is just the fifth Maroon named to the IWLCA North-South Game Roster, following recent graduates Elizabeth Hartge '12 and Gina Valles '11.

For the third consecutive year, Bonanno, a native of Ridgewood, NJ, was named to the IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region Team. Earlier this year, she earned her third All-ODAC nod, being named to the First Team in both 2012 and 2013, as well as Second Team in 2014. With 95 points in her senior season, Bonanno moved into second all-time at Roanoke in points with 358, passing Ali Oglesby '98 who had 298 during her years as a Maroon. At the end of Bonanno's junior season, she had already set the all-time record for assists at Roanoke with 147, and with 40 more in 2014, extending that mark to 187. Her 187 assists is now an ODAC record for career assists, passing Meagan Dicave of Virginia Wesleyan, who played from 1999-02. Also, the 40 assists from Bonanno ranked second in the ODAC. Bonanno finished the year with 55 goals off of 88 shots on goal. She had 35 ground balls, 37 draw controls and eight forced turnovers.

The 2014 North-South games will take place at Cabrini College in Radnor, PA on Saturday, June 7th. The Division III game will take place at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. Below is the roster for the 2014 Division III South Squad. To see the complete DI-DIII North/South Rosters, click here.
