Women's Lacrosse Places Four on 2015 All-ODAC Teams
FOREST – The Roanoke College women's lacrosse team placed four players on the 2015 Women's Lacrosse All-ODAC Teams, announced on Tuesday.  Claire Feeney and Darragh Evarts earned First Team honors, Katie Gehrdes was tabbed with Second Team accolades, while Meredith Bigelow picked up the Third Team nod.

Claire Feeney – Junior – Attack
Feeney, of Old Greenwich, CT earns her second First Team All-ODAC nod in here second season with the Maroons.  Feeney tied for the top scorer on the Maroons squad putting away 36 goals this season.  She tied for ninth in the ODAC for goals scored, while ranking 10th in assists (14) and 10th in points (50).  Feeney finished the season with 18 draw controls, 14 ground balls, and eight forced turnovers.  She put away two game winners on the year with goals against Bridgewater and Sweet Briar in back to back games.  She sits with 98 career goals, entering her senior season, along with 34 assists and 132 total points.

Darragh Evarts – Senior – Midfield
Evarts, from Goldens Bridge, NY, completes her sweep of First Team All-ODAC awards, earning the honor for the fourth consecutive year.  Evarts finished the season tied for the top scorer on the squad with 36 goals.  Tying Feeney as ninth in the ODAC in goals, she finished the season ranked seventh in the ODAC in points with 54 and seventh in assists with 18 to lead the Maroons.  The all-time draw control leader at Roanoke led the squad this season with 46, bringing her career total to 337.  She also ranks second all-time in shots on goal (336), and third in points (310), goals (231), shots (423) and free position goals (46).

Katie Gehrdes – Junior – Defense
Gehrdes from Annapolis, MD, earns her first All-ODAC nod in her junior season, picking up Second Team honors in 2015.  She led the team in ground balls, scooping up 28 this season. She also finished with eight draw controls and 16 forced turnovers, leading the team in the latter category.  In two seasons, Gehrdes has 25 forced turnovers, 61 ground balls, and two goals, both coming from her freshman season.

Meredith Bigelow – Sophomore – Attack
Bigelow, a native of Annapolis, MD, garnered her first All-ODAC award in her sophomore season with the Maroons.  She finished the season with 21 goals, ranking third on the team, while dishing out eight assist, fourth most for the Maroons.  She had a total of 33 draw controls, second behind Evarts, as well as 15 ground balls and nine forced turnovers.  Bigelow scored a career high four goals against Randolph College on April 3rd.
