Courtney McCartin and Katie Clements each had four goals for the Maroons, while Clare Feeney had two goals and six assists.
Meredith Bigelow had three goals, while Allison Beames and Jenn Schwechheimerhad a pair.
Victoria Smith made seven saves in the first-half for RC and Emma Blair made three second-half stops.
- Roanoke controlled the draw control winning 21-of-24 led by Feeney who grabbed 10 and Clements who snared eight.
- Demming Carlow had three goals for Guilford, while Amanda Dionne had two.
- After Guilford scored the first goal of the game, RC rattled four straight strikes with Feeney making it 4-1 with 23:31 to go.
- GC cut it to 4-3 after back-to-back goals by Carter MacLeod and Dionne with 16:01 to go in the opening half.
- A Julia Galanto goal with 13 minutes remaining sparked 5-1 run to close the half for the Maroons with McCartin making it 9-4 heading into the break.
- GC came out and scored two goals in the first five minutes of the half to make it 10-6 before RC scored seven unanswered to close to go up 17-6 and put the game away.
