The Lead: A nine goal run in the first-half propelled Roanoke Women's Lacrosse to a 19-9 ODAC win over Guilford on Wednesday.

How it Happened
- Claire Feeney led RC with five goal and two assists for seven points on the day. McKenna Polak notched a career-high four goals in the win, while Katie Clements had two goals and two assists to go along with five groundballs, five draw controls and four caused turnovers.
- Victoria Smith made seven saves and Emma Blair had a pair of saves in the second-half.
- Marina Bailey had five goals for Guilford, while Amanda Dionne and Demming Carlow each had a pair of goals. Sammi Milbourn had 17 saves for the Quakers.
- Roanoke led in shots 41-21 and won the groundball battle 23-14.
- With the score 2-1 in favor of the Quakers a Clements goal at the 21:40 marked a 9-0 run for RC that was capped with a Polak strike with 49 seconds to play that made it 10-2. 
- Guilford would get a pair of goals before time ran out to send the teams to the locker room with RC leading 10-4.
- Goals by Feeney and Sarah Kroneberger in the first 1:31 of the second-half made it 12-4.
