Claire Feeney Named ODAC Women's Lax Player of the Week
FOREST, Va. – Roanoke College's Claire Feeney has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week announced by the league on Monday.

Feeney, a senior from Old Greenwich, Conn., registered 16 points in helping Roanoke to a 2-0 week. She scored twice and dished out two assists with four draw controls in a 24-3 triumph at Hollins. Feeney then scored seven goals in a game for the fourth time in her career as the Maroons put a stop to Centre's seven-game winning streak via a 19-11 decision. Feeney added five assists for 12 points, tying for the fourth-most in a single-game in RC history. She added five grouind balls and four caused turnovers in the contest. For the season, Feeney leads the ODAC with 33 points. Her 22 goals are second, while the 11 assists she's recorded rank fourth.

The Maroons make their first appearance in Salem on Tuesday when then take on ODAC rival Randolph-Macon at 7:00 p.m.
