The Lead: Claire Feeney (7g, 5a) and Meredith Bigelow (7g, 1a) combined for 20 points to help Roanoke snap Centre's seven game win streak as the Maroons topped the Colonels 19-11 on Saturday.

How it Happened
  • Feeney and Bigelow's seven goals tie for the second most in a single game in RC Women's Lacrosse history. It also marks the fourth time in her career Feeney has scored seven times, while her 12 points ties for the fourth most in a single game in RC history.
  • Courtney McCartin scored four times and dished out three assists for seven points, while Allison Beames dished out three assist in the win.
  • Roanoke jumped out to a 3-0 lead just over five minutes into the game, getting a goal from Bigelow and two from Feeney.
  • After Centre got on the board, Bigelow scored back-to-back goals to make it 5-1 Maroons with 21:48 to go in the first-half.
  • With the score 6-3, RC rattled off four unanswered goals with a Fenney tally putting RC up 10-3 with 12:41 on the clock.
