The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse coaches Association announced their All Region teams on Tuesday morning. A pair of Maroon midfielders were honored as two of the 272 student-athletes to be named to one of the eight region first or second teams. Juniors Lilly Blair and Emerson Foster are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team, when they are announced in June.

Blair was named to the first team in the Chesapeake region. During a season that would see the Maroons ranked 24th in the final IWLCA top 25 poll, Blair recorded a team high 50 goals to go with 10 assists, 38 draw controls, 21 ground balls, and 11 caused turnovers. The Salem native was named All ODAC first team and was one of six conference players to be named 1st team All Region.

Foster earned a spot on the IWLCA Chesapeake Region's second team. The 1st team All ODAC selection finished the 2021 campaign with 46 goals and nine assists for 55 total points. Foster secured a team high 80 draw controls while picking up 27 ground balls and causing 17 turnovers.

In total, the ODAC would see 11 members of the first (6) and second (5) teams. The pair of Maroons would join six form Washington and Lee, two from Shenandoah and one player from Lynchburg. Roanoke completed the season with an overall record of 9-4, 5-1 in conference play, as well as making an appearance in the 2021 ODAC Women's Lacrosse Championship game. Three of their four loses were at the hands of two of the top four teams in the country.
