SALEM, Va. -- After playing a big role in the No. 17 Roanoke women's lacrosse team going 2-0 on the week, Natalie Mason has been named the ODAC Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.

Mason started off with five ground balls and four caused turnovers in the 10-7 win over Lynchburg on the road. She followed that up with three ground balls and two caused turnovers against Christopher Newport on Saturday. Against the Captains, she scored her second career goal.
