The Lead: Roanoke traveled to Pennsylvania to compete in the eight-team, Elizabethtown Blue Jay Invite. The Maroons would post 83 points on their way to a fourth place finish. Wilkes finished atop the standings with 116 points while Davis & Elkins (103) finished runner-up and Elizabethtown (88) third.
RC highlights:
- 165 – Andrew McDougal picked up a fall ahead of a pair of decisions (6-0 and 4-1) to earn a spot in the finals. McDougal would finish runner-up when he fell by decision to Brian Schneider (Elizabethtown).
- 133 – Corey Messick won by fall before falling in his second match of the day. Messick would battle through the consolation bracket by taking three consecutive decisions (6-3, 7-2, and 7-4) to earn a spot in the 3rd place match and he posted a 4-3 decision over Matthew Murawski (Scranton).
- 141 – Morgan Robinson fell in his opener to came all the way through the brackets to face off against teammate Garrett Hughes with 3rd place on the line. Robinson was able to take the match, (10-3) as RC would take the 3rd and 4th place points at the weight class.
- 149 - William Kennedy picked up a fall to start the day after he received a bye int eh opening round. Craig Cook (Davis & Elkins) sent Kennedy to the consolation bracket with a decision. Up 3-2 at the end of the first round against Max Shaffer (Wilkes), Kennedy got Shaffer on his back and won by fall.
- 184 – Collin Milko would make it a quartet of Maroons with 3rd place finishes. After falling in the opener, (4-2) Milko won the next four matches by falls (2-technical and 2-pins) to claim third place points.
