The Lead: Third-seeded Lynchburg won four singles matches to take a 5-2 win over Roanoke in the ODAC Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday.

How it Happened:

• After RC dropped No. 1 doubles, Catherine Lee and Madeline Herring topped Lilli Altenburg and Ellen Druebbisch 8-5 in No. 2 doubles to tie the match 1-1.
• The Maroons then took a 2-1 lead when Carolyn Kitsock and Janny Alvarado knocked off Reagan Coon and Sarah Wyly in No. 3 doubles.
• The Hornets took control of the match winning, No. 1, No. 3 and No. 2 singles before Coon closed out the match with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Alvarado in No. 6 singles.
