Senior outside hitter Kelsey Largen was named Third-Team All-ODAC announced Monday afternoon. It's the third all-conference honor that the team captain has garnered throughout her career at Roanoke.

Largen, a Cave Spring product and a former two-sport athlete during her time at Roanoke, claimed two state titles for the Knights before attending Roanoke College. She was a member of the 2008 team that set the program-record with a 24-4 mark. The 24 wins tied the 2002 team for most in program-history. As a sophomore, she was a big part of the upset victory over eight-time defending ODAC Champion, Washington and Lee in the conference quarterfinals. The Maroons were ODAC Runner-Up that season. As a junior, Largen emerged in her upperclassman role, leading the women to a 21-7 record.

This fall, the scholar-athlete nominee led the Maroons in kills (274), digs (250) and aces (50). She closed her career at RC in the top-10 all-time in kills (4^th-1079), digs (6^th-926) and 12^th in aces (133). Largen had 14 matches of 10 kills or more, nine with 10 digs or more and 16 with two or more aces. She posted season-highs of 17 kills vs. Emory & Henry (10/12), 21 digs vs. Peace (9/9) and five aces vs. Randolph College (9/27).

The Maroons finished 7-23 overall, 2-8 in the ODAC this fall.
