Salem, Va. – The Roanoke College Baseball team is receiving votes in the 2019 D3baseball.com/NCBWA Preseason Top 25.
RC's appearance in the D3baseball.com poll comes on the heels of the Maroons being ranked 30th in the nation in the Collegiate Baseball Preseason Poll.
Roanoke finished the 2018 season with a 31-11 record which is the second most wins in school history.
Head Coach Matt McGuire returns all-region third baseman Jack Howard who hit .348 with one home run and 36 RBI last season. Also back in the mix is ODAC Rookie of the Year Will Salva. Salva finished his first season in Salem hitting .329 with five home runs and 37 RBI.
Roanoke opens its season on Feb. 9 when it travels to Methodist for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.
