The Bryn Athyn, Pa., native made 17 saves in her first collegiate start in an overtime victory over Stevenson. Schauder was outstanding in the cage, making 10 saves in the second-half alone.Stevenson was awarded three penalty strokes in the first 25 minutes of the game, but Schauder turned away all three to keep the Mustangs off the board. Schauder would continue her hot play, making nine saves in the first 10 minutes of the second stanza.
Roanoke is 2-0 for the first time since 2003 and will travel to Bethany on Saturday for a 1: 00 p.m.
