The Lead: Washington and Lee scored a 2-0 victory over Roanoke Tuesday night in ODAC Field Hockey action.
How it Happened:
- Grace Brown would give the Generals the only goal they would need in the 27th minute, giving W&L a 1-0 advantage.
- The score would stay that way through halftime and into the 42nd minute when the Generals got a goal from Olivia Hewitt to make it 2-0.
- W&L held a 19-5 edge in shots and 11-2 in penalty corners.
- Emma Clark made eight saves for Roanoke in goal.
