Men's Basketball Game Notes vs. Randolph
Roanoke College meets up with Randolph College this evening in the opening round of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Championships. This matchup between the #11 Maroons at the #6 host Wildcats will be the third meeting this 2011-12 season, where the series is split already at 1-1.

Roanoke won the first meeting in Lynchburg, 62-59 (Box Score). Four Maroons scored in double-digits including Kwasi Amponsah and Logan Singleton who each had 12 points. Derrick Woods-Morrow finished with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Wildcats.

Randolph took home the victory in the Bast Center on Feb. 15, with a score of 79-72 (Box Score). This meeting the Wildcats had four players netting 16 points or more, with Woods-Morrow with a team-high 18 points. Amponsah led all players with 19 points, while Singleton added 11.

Previewing Randolph: The Wildcats enter the opening round of the ODAC Tournament 12-13, 7-9 in conference. The Wildcats are coming of a 65-61 loss to Lynchburg on Saturday. Colton Hunt led the team with 12 points, while Derrick Woods-Morrow finished with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds. Hunt is ranked fourth in the ODAC in points per game, scoring 16.2 points per contest. He also has the highest fre throw percentage in the conference at 87.5%

Previewing Roanoke: The Maroons are entering the ODAC Tournament on a high after a victory over Bridgewater 80-73. In that contest, Daniel Eacho had a career night with 21 points against the Eagles. Kwasi Amponsah (18.4 PPG) and Logan Singleton (15.0 PPG) are still the top scoring duo in the ODAC, totaling 33.4 points per game, just 1.4 PPG more than the next duo (Woodmore/Vaughn of Va. Wesleyan).
