Come to Maroon Madness This Saturday, January 24th for Roanoke Men's and Women's Basketball!
On Saturday, January 24th, the Roanoke College women's and men's basketball teams will host Maroon Madness in the Bast Center Gym.  The women will be taking on Old Dominion Athletic Conference opponent Eastern Mennonite University at 1:00 PM, while the men face off against Bridgewater at 3:30 PM.

BIG GAMES FOR THE MAROONS
The women's basketball team just picked up a 62-50 win over Hollins on Wednesday evening and looking to build off of that victory in the second half of the season.  Sophomore Cary Beahm currently ranks third in the ODAC in points per game (16.8) and total points 252.  She has either set or tied career highs in scoring over the last three games, scoring 23 points apiece in each of the past two contests.  Senior Tatum McKee is second on the team in scoring, with 9.0 points per game. The Maroons are taking on Eastern Mennonite, who are currently tied for the best record in the conference with a mark of 6-1.  The Royals currently have received votes in the latest d3hoops.com poll.  They are led by Jess Rheinheimer who ranks first in the ODAC in points per game with 19.7.  She has scored over 20 points in seven games, including a tally of 41 points in a win against Washington College.

The men's team is coming off of a tough loss to Emory & Henry on Wednesday night.  In the first of two consecutive home games for the Maroons, Roanoke will be taking on Bridgewater College.  Andrew Daniels and Daniel Eacho are averaging over 13 points per game for the Maroons so far this season, while Cameron Smith tops the squad in rebounds, pulling down 6.6 boards per game.  Roanoke will take on Bridgewater College, who is 9-7 overall, 4-3 in the ODAC.  They are led by Ed Reddick, who is first or second in the league in numerous statistical categories.  He tops the ODAC in points per game, tallying 18.4 per contest.  He also ranks second in total rebounds (144) and rebounds per game (9.0).

The Maroons are looking for your support during both of Saturday's contests to help push them through to victory over their Old Dominion Athletic Conference opponents!
