The women's basketball win on Wednesday puts them in a tie for 10th place in the conference entering the final game of the regular season against Eastern Mennonite on Saturday. The Royals received 19 votes in the most recent d3hoops.com top-25 poll, making them the second team out of the list. The Royals have secured the #1 seed in the ODAC Tournament, while the Maroons will be on the road for the opening round game on Tuesday, February 24th. If the Maroons win in the opening round, they will play on Friday, February 27th at the Salem Civic Center in the ODAC Quarterfinals.
The men's basketball team currently sits in 10th In the ODAC standings, with seeds five through eight hosting an ODAC Tournament Opening Round Contest on Monday, February 23rd. Roanoke defeated EMU earlier in the season 81-80 in the Bast Center. The Royals are tied for fourth place in the ODAC and are looking for a first round bye in the ODAC Tournament.
