The Lead: Randolph-Macon sank 13 three-pointers in a 71-60 win over Roanoke in ODAC Men's Basketball action Wednesday night.

How it Happened:

  • RC was led by Caleb Jordan who scored 18 points off the bench. C.J. Miles scored 15 points, while Joey Miller and Josh Freund each had eight points. Freund grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds in the loss.
  • Montese Adams had a game-high 18 points for R-MC. Korey Turner scored 14 points, while Grayson Midulla and Corey Bays each had 10.
  • R-MC shot 53.3% for the game, making 24-of-45 shots from the floor, including 13-of-27 from three. RC shot 46.9% for the game but was just 8-of-19 from the foul line.
  • Randolph-Macon knocked down seven three-pointers in the first-half, the last of which coming from Korey Turner that gave the Yellow Jackets a 31-21 lead with just under five minutes to play.
  • RC rallied with an 11-2 run to close the half. A Miles layup as time expired sent the teams to the intermission with R-MC leading 33-32.
  • The Yellow Jackets opened up a 10 point lead in the second-half when Jon Nowell made a basket with 12 minutes to play.
  • RC cut the lead to seven at 53-46 with 9:52 to go, but back-to-back three-pointers by Adams with under four minutes to go gave R-MC a 63-52 advantage.
