SALEM, Va. -- After joining as a coach last season and having a stellar playing career, Nick Price '22 has been elevated to Men's Basketball Assistant Coach on Clay Nunley's staff beginning in 2023-24.

"I am beyond grateful to Roanoke College and Coach Nunley for this amazing opportunity to be a member of a community that empowers its students to achieve their dreams," said Price. "I am excited to return to Roanoke College Men's Basketball in this new role as an assistant coach and I'm looking forward to being a part of the long-standing legacy and future growth of this program."

Price played all four years for Nunley, including the COVID shortened 2020-21 season. He finished his career with 331 points, 245 assists, 188 rebounds, 90 steals, and 25 blocks. He scored a career-high 17 points  at Guilford on January 12, 2022.

"Nick was an accomplished player in our program, but more than that he was an outstanding leader and one of the best teammates I've had the privilege of coaching," added Nunley. "He knows what our program is about and will be a great addition to our coaching staff while successfully investing in our student-athletes to help them reach their potential on and off the basketball court and have a tremendous experience.  I'm excited to have Coach Price with us!"

Price will begin his duties immediately.
