The Lead: Andrew Butts tied for the lowest final round score with a 69 to land him in a tie for ninth-place at the Tom Kinder Memorial Tournament at Lakeview Golf Club.

How it Happened

Butts birdied five holes on the day to vault up 29 spots on the leaderboard from Monday's opening round.
Butts finished the two-day tournament with a 77-69—146 to finish two over par.
The Maroons shot a 312-314—626 to finish in a tie for 14^th place with ODAC rival Lynchburg.
Ferrum shot even par for the tournament to win by eight strokes over second-place Hampden-Sydney.
