Forest, Va. – Roanoke's Peter Lindley has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week as the league announced its weekly awards on Monday. 

Lindley, a junior from Darien, Conn., put together a 12-point week in the Maroons two opening games of the season. In a 20-8 win over Birmingham Southern, Lindley scored four times and dished out an assist to go with two ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers. He followed that with six goals scored and a assist in a 14-13 double-overtime setback to nationally 17th-ranked Denison. He picked up two more ground balls in that game. Lindley leads Roanoke with 10 goals and two assists thru their first two outings.
