How it Happened

  • Fifteen different Maroons scored in the win led by Kevin Jackson and Mikey Booth who both had hat tricks. Jackson (3g, 1a), along with Cameron Linsley (2g, 2a), Danny Serafin (1g, 3a) and Jason Sarro (2g, 2a) all had a team-high four points in the win.
  • Goals by Chad Fisher and Sarro put RC up 2-0 early before a Mitch MacDonald man-up goal made it 2-1 less than two minutes into the game.
  • Brendan Devane scored with just under 12 minutes to play in the first quarter and sparked what would be seven unanswered goals for the Maroons with a Linsley goal putting RC in front 9-1, 41 seconds into the second quarter.

  • RC outshot Randolph 63-28 and held a 50-25 edge in groundballs, led by Reid Kaminski and Robby Moore who each scooped up seven. Roanoke won 23-of-34 face-offs led by Kaminski who won nine and Parker Gann who won seven.
