Four Maroons Earn IMLCA All-South Region Honors; Davies Named Defensive Player of the Year

Salem, Va. -- Four Roanoke Men's Lacrosse standouts have earned IMLCA All-South Region Honors, including goalkeeper Ian Davies who was named South Region Defensive Player of the Year.

Davies was named First-Team All-South Region along with midfielder IV Stucker and defenseman Conn Curry. Defenseman Robby Moore was named to the second-team.

A USLA First-Team All-American and the USILA National Goalie of the Year, Davies was a First-Team All-ODAC selection as well. Davies posted an ODAC best 220 saves. He also ranked first with a 57.0 save percentage and third in goals-against-average with a 9.24 mark.

Stucker capped his career with his third consecutive All-American honor and his first, first-team accolade. A three-time First-Team All-ODAC selection, Stucker ranked in the top-10 in the ODAC in points, goals and assists this season. His 67 points are sixth best in the league, while his 37 goals are ninth and his 30 assists are seventh-best.

Curry closed his career with his third All-American honor and his second, second-team award. A three-time First-Team All-ODAC honoree, Curry had 25 caused turnovers on the season which was second in the ODAC, while he picked up 52 groundballs which were 17th most in the league.

Moore earned his second straight Second-Team All-ODAC honor in May. Moore's 60 groundballs were eighth-most in the ODAC and he caused 23 turnovers.
