Lindley Named ODAC Player of the Week

Salem, Va. – Roanoke's Peter Lindley has been named the ODAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

Lindley, a senior from Darien, Conn., put together a record-setting week in helping Roanoke to a pair of victories. Lindley led off with five goals and an assist in a 17-10 non-conference triumph over Kenyon. He added three ground balls to his line. Lindley then tied the ODAC record of 14 points in a game set by former Maroon Andy Bonasera in 2001 as Roanoke defeated Virginia Wesleyan, 27-13. Lindley tied a Maroons standard with 10 goals to go with four assists. He chipped in three ground balls and a caused turnover. For the season, Lindley leads the ODAC in points (38) and goals scored (30).

Roanoke returns to action on Wednesday at Mary Washington at 4:00 p.m.
