Sarro and Davies Named All-Americans by USILA

Salem, Va. – Roanoke College Men's Lacrosse standouts Ian Davies and Jason Sarro have been named All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).

Davies was named Second-Team All-American at goalie, while Sarro was an Honorable-Mention All-American at attack.

It is the second All-American honor for Davies who was named First-Team All-American last season and the USILA National Goalie of the Year. Earlier this month, Davies earned his second consecutive spot as the First-Team All-ODAC goalie. This season, Davies had 248 saves which were second most in the ODAC. His 57.5 save percentage was third-best in the ODAC and his 11.01 goals against average were fourth-best in the league.

Sarro earns his third honorable mention honor in as many seasons following a year where he was named First-Team All-ODAC for the third straight season. Despite playing in only 13 games following a season-ending injury, Sarro had 37 goals which were 13th most in the league, while his 41 assists were second in the ODAC. He also picked up 36 groundballs on the year.
