Men's Soccer Ranked in NCAA DIII Poll

Salem, VA --- The Roanoke College men's soccer team has continued success this season with victories over ODAC foe Virginia Wesleyan (5-4; 4-1) and previously ranked #18 Salisbury. The men are 7-3-1 overall and 3-1 in the ODAC. They are currently ranked second in the conference.

In the latest NCAA Division III poll Roanoke is ranked 23rd out of 300 ranked teams in team goals against average. The Maroons are also ranked 43rd in shutout percentage and 119th in save percentage. The men lead the ODAC in goals allowed (6), shutouts (6), and corners (81).
Senior goalie Adam Thompson has done his part between the pipes. Thompson is ranked 30th out of 300 ranked players in the NCAA Division III standings in goals against average and places second in the ODAC. He also is ranked 133rd in save percentage (.786). Thompson remains at the top of the charts in the conference with five shutouts.
The Maroons travel to Harrisonburg to take on Eastern Mennonite on Saturday. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
