The men's lacrosse team will be sponsoring a tailgate cookout this evening during the men's soccer match vs. Guilford at Kerr Stadium. Located on Sutton Terrace outside the Colket Center , the tailgate will provide FREE hotdogs, macaroni salad, baked beans, cookies, and beverages starting at 7 PM. It will run throughout the entire game!

Be sure to also come out before hand and catch our field hockey team as they host Washington and Lee in their home ODAC-opener. The match is scheduled for a 4 PM start at Kerr Stadium. The women are currently 1-6, coming off a strong non-conference schedule to prepare them for ODAC-play. Of those teams, one was an NCAA Div. II scholarship school (Limestone, 5-2 record), and three others are nationally-ranked (Mary Washington, Lynchburg, Gettysburg).

The men's soccer team is currently 3-3 and 1-1 in the ODAC. Tyler Carbaugh's header in the final minutes gave the Maroons a thrilling 3-2 victory over Virginia Wesleyan on the road last Friday. It was sweet revenge for RC as the Marlins ended the Maroons season in the ODAC Tournament.

For Scott Allison ‘79, he is sitting on win #299 entering tonight's contest. Already the program and conference all-time wins leader, Allison has been on the RC sidelines for 27 seasons. Over his career at Roanoke, he has guided his teams to seven ODAC Championships and five NCAA Tournament Appearances while developing six NSCAA All-Americans. A win tonight will give him milestone victory #300, becoming the 27^th coach in NCAA Div. III history to accomplish that win plateau.
