FOREST – Roanoke men's soccer player Brian White has been named ODAC Player of the Week, announced Monday. He is the second men's soccer player to win the award this year, with Robby Lentine winning on September 9th.
White, a senior from Virginia Beach, Va., scored half of the Maroons' goals this week as Roanoke posted a pair of ODAC victories. White scored twice to open his week in a 3-0 triumph over Emory & Henry. He followed that with another tally in a 3-0 victory over Eastern Mennonite. White is currently fifth in the ODAC in points (11) and tied for third in goals scored (5). White is just one goal shy of cracking the top-15 career goal scorers at Roanoke College, as he currently has 20 goals.
The Maroons return to action on Wednesday, October 2nd as they travel to Winchester to take on Shenandoah University in ODAC action. That contest is scheduled for a 7:00 PM start.
