Dinkel, a junior from Basel, Switzerland, is the first Maroon to be named NSCAA All-American since Chris Conover in the 2012 season. He is also just the 11th player for the Maroons to earn NSCAA Division III All-American honors. Dinkel led the ODAC in points (37), goals scored (12) and assists (13) as he proved to be the engine behind the ODAC's top scoring offense (43 goals) thru the end of the conference tournament. He is the first Maroon to be named ODAC Player of the Year since Eric Eversole won in 2006. Four times he notched the game-winning goal for RC, including a 1-0 victory over Randolph-Macon College and a 4-3 triumph at EMU. He started all 20 games for the Maroons, registering at least one point on 14 occasions. His largest output came in the ODAC semifinals against Washington and Lee University in which he scored once and dished out three assists for a five-point night. Thru two seasons in a RC uniform, Dinkel has scored 17 goals and handed out 19 assists for 53 points. His 19 assists rank tied for ninth all-time at Roanoke College, with his 13 in 2014 ranking third all-time in single season assists.
Sinclair, a junior from Blacksburg, VA, closes out his senior season with the Maroons in spectacular fashion, being named NSCAA First Team All-Region. Sinclair was an outstanding goalkeeper for the Maroons this season, logging over 1700 minutes in goal. He finished with a goals-against average of 0.67, which ranked first in the ODAC. He also tallied 62 saves with a save percentage of .827, the second best mark in the conference. Sinclair picked up 15 wins on the year, leading all goalkeepers in the category. He also dished out eight shutouts, more than any other player in the league.
Carbaugh, a junior from Blacksburg, VA, picks up his first NSCAA All-Region honor, after earning his third consecutive All-ODAC nod this season. The 2012 ODAC Rookie of the Year finished the season with four goals and six assists. Carbaugh's six assists ranked third in the ODAC. He also tallied 41 shots (9th in the ODAC). In three out of his four goals, Carbaugh tallied the game-winning score, which ranked third among all players in the conference. He finished the season with 14 points, the third highest total among the Maroon squad.
Beck, a junior from Blacksburg, VA, is named to the NSCAA All-Region Third Team, having been named All-Conference in each of the last two seasons. The defender started and played in all 20 games for the Maroons in 2014. He finished the season with three shots as well. Beck was part of a Roanoke defense that posted eight shutouts over the course of the season, including five consecutive games down the stretch through the ODAC Tournament.
