The Lead: The Roanoke College Men's Soccer team scored four first-half goals in en route to 5-0 win over William Peace on day two of the 2015 All Sports Café Roanoke Invitational.

How it happened:
  • RC jumped on the board in the eighth minute when Robby Lentine sent a crossing pass into the box that was headed home by Cole Thornton to make it 1-0.
  • Just under 10 minutes later a Marshall Hodge corner kick was headed past William Peace keeper Tanielu Riley by Sam Rauf to double the RC lead.
  • The Maroons scored two goals in the final five minutes of the first half to take a 4-0 lead into halftime. Hodge scored on a header of his own in the 41st minute, and Jose Robertson set up Adam Yesbeck for a goal with just 14 seconds left in the half.
  • RC outshot William Peace 22-1 and held an 8-1 edge in corner kicks 
 Up Next: Roanoke will hit the road next Thursday when it travels to Southern Virginia for a 7:00 p.m. match.
