SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke College Men's and Women's Soccer teams hosted a free clinic for over 200 local youth players on Friday evening at Kerr Stadium.
The evening was designed to teach technical and tactical fundamentals of the game in an exciting way and to help players prepare for the upcoming soccer season.
Players got instruction from both RC coaching staffs and current players in addition to games, prizes and giveaways.
Both the Men's and Women's Soccer teams kick off the 2017 season on Friday, Sept. 1. The Women host St. John Fisher at 6:30 p.m. in day one of the Roanoke Invitational in Salem while the Men face U-Mass Boston at 4:30 p.m. in the Lynchburg Invitational in Lynchburg, Va.
