The Lead: A late goal from Chris Pikunas gave Roanoke a 1-0 win over EMU Saturday evening in Harrisonburg, Va.

How it Happened:

• After 70 scoreless minutes, Chris Pikunas scored the game-winner off a corner to give RC a 1-0 advantage.
• Nick Tadros made three saves in the final 12 minutes of the contest to secure the win. Tadros made four saves total on the day for the Maroons.
• Roanoke owned a 22-7 edge in shots, with 12 coming in the first half. RC took six corners on the night while EMU took three.
• Matthew Overacker made seven saves in goal for the Royals.
