How it Happened

  • Each team had five shots and Zach Behe made three saves in what proved to be a scoreless first-half of play.
  • The game remained even until the 62nd minute when a Tim Leuenberger corner was headed into the net by Liam Camilleri to make it a 1-0 game.
  • It stayed that way until the 86th minute when the Maroons got an insurance goal when Camilleri slid a pass right to Isaac Wolf who went one-on-one with Randolph keeper Erick Cortez-Martinez and scored to double the RC to 2-0.
  • The Maroon defense made the lead hold up as Behe made a pair of second-half stops. Behe and the Maroon defense have now recorded four consecutive shutouts.
  • Roanoke outshot Randolph 11-10, while each team had four corner kicks.
  • RC is currently ranked No. 13 in this week's United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Poll.
