The Lead: Roanoke won a pair of doubles matches and five singles matches en route to its 7-2 ODAC win at Emory & Henry.
How it Happened:
- Holden Branham and Jose Alvarado kicked off the day with a 8-3 win over Luke Funkhouser and Dalton Shipley.
- Matt Friedlander and Jack Doriss won the final doubles match with a 9-8 (8-6) victory over Cooper Garrett and James Watson-Dare.
- Alvarado took a 7-5, 6-1 win over Funkhouser in No. 2 followed by a Chris Teeple 6-1, 6-1 win over Shipley at No. 3.
- Bill Goins kept the momentum going with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Grayson McCarty and Neel Shah defeated James Watson-Dare 6-1, 6-2
- Friedlander rounded out the singles with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Liam Davidson.
- The Emory & Henry duo of John Dalton Ferguson and McArty (8-4) recorded the only doubles win of the day for the Wasps while Ferguson won 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 1.
