The Lead: The Maroons won four sprint events en route to a fourth-place team finish at the ODAC outdoor track & field championships in Bridgewater.

Monday Highlights:

  • Lynchburg collected the team title with 175 points, followed by Washington and Lee (150), Bridgewater (127), and Roanoke (92).
  • Brady Fowler won the 100m dash in 10.58 seconds.
  • In the 200m, Fowler also finished first and broke his own school record with a time of 21.32 seconds. Samuel Crawford placed fourth in 21.63 seconds.
  • Crawford won the 400m in 48.67 seconds, while Lorenzo Camobreco came in second in 49.02 seconds.
  • The Maroons also claimed victory in the 4x100 relay, as Crawford and Fowler teamed up with Aidan Spradlin and Joseph Eldridge to cross the tape in 41.22 seconds.
  • Roanoke's 4x400 relay quartet of Brandon Heffinger, Camobreco, Victor Cardwell and Crawford finished second in 3:22.07.
  • Daniel Graham placed third in the 110m hurdles with a mark of 15.69 seconds.
  • Two Maroons scored in the pole vault: Dominic McCombs came in sixth at 3.76m, while Miles Enstrom produced an eighth-place finish with a mark of 3.61m.
  • Joseph Kenney provided a sixth-place showing in the triple jump with a distance of 12.83m.
  • In the 400m hurdles, Cameron McDonald placed sixth in 58.04 seconds.
  • Cooper Neeble finished eighth in the 1,500m with a time of 4:07.60.
