Mary Riley came to Roanoke college as a volunteer assistant coach with the Cross Country programs in the fall of 2019. Riley is a 2011 graduate of York College (Pa.) where she competed as a member of the cross country and track teams (distance events). In the Spartan record books, Riley is ranked in the top 20 in the 5000m and 10,000m. In 2009 she finished 3rd at the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Cross Country Championships with a time of 25:55.40. Originally from Olney (Md.), Riley now resides in Salem with her fiancé Tim and works as a Pediatric Nurse Practioner.
