On Tuesday morning, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced their 2021 All ODAC Softball awards. Four Maroons were named to the three teams after a season in which Roanoke finished fourth in the conference and earned a trip to the ODAC Softball Tournament semifinals. Pitcher Jada Karnes was named to the first team while catcher Rachel Sirbaugh, outfielder Rebecca Hensley, and infielder Makayla Austin were named to the second team.

Karnes was named to one of the two first team pitcher spots after a season that saw the Roanoke native finish third in the conference with 14 wins. Three home runs to go with seven doubles and two triples helped Sirbaugh to a slugging percentage of .627, ranking her 6th in the conference and her .475 on base percentage was 7th best in the league.

Hensley was honored by the league as a 2019 All ODAC first teamer and returns as a second team honoree this season. The graduating junior warped up the season with a .313 average and finished in the top 20 in both triples and runs scored. Her 15 stolen bases led the team and were 6th best in the ODAC.
