The Lead: Lynchburg scored a 63-42 ODAC win over Roanoke Wednesday night in Salem.

How it Happened:

• Roanoke jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead. The lead was quickly erased by the Hornets who pulled ahead 14-11 at end of the first quarter.
• Lynchburg led 14-13 with nine minutes left in the half and would then go on an 18-5 run to hold a 32-18 lead at the break.
• LC allowed RC to score just nine points in the third quarter and was able to widen its lead to 46-27 after the first 30 minutes.
• Kayla Kinsler led Roanoke in scoring with 11, while Madeline Suhr pitched in with eight rebounds.
• Lynchburg was led by Molly Shephard with a total of 15 points and seven rebounds, followed by Olivia DeFrancesco scoring 13 of her own.

Up Next: Roanoke will be back in action on Saturday when it heads to Shenandoah for a 4:30 p.m. game.
