The Lead: No. 7 Bridgewater jumped out to an early lead in the first-round of the ODAC Tournament as the Eagles topped No. 10 Roanoke 86-68 on Monday night.

How it Happened:

• Bridgewater held a 21-12 lead after the first quarter. Bridgewater then scored the first seven points of the second quarter to open up a 28-12 lead. The Eagles went up by 22 when Rebecca Harvey converted a three-point play, making the score 48-26 with 1:17 left in the quarter.
• Roanoke's Megan Wheeler and Harvey exchanged hoops before Roanoke's Jayla Faison made 1-for-2 at the line, making the score 50-29.
• Bridgewater's Chyna Roberts buried a 3-pointer from the left corner just before the buzzer, sending the Eagles to the break with a 53-29 lead.
• BC would outscore RC 26-8 in the third quarter to put the game away.
• Kayla Kinsler led the Maroons with 18 points and Jessica Louros came off the bench to score 13. Victoria Maxwell added a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
