SALEM - Three Roanoke College Women's Lacrosse players were tabbed members of the 2012 IWLCA All-Chesapeake Region Team, announced Friday. Allison Bonanno and Elizabeth Hartge earned first-team honors, while Kathleen Wager was slated for second team accolades. All three of these players also earned 2012 All-ODAC First Team selections.

Bonanno led the Maroons offensively, scoring 56 goals and 45 assists. With 101 points in 2012, she ranks fourth in single-season total points. This season, she also ranks fourth in single-season shots on goal (107). Bonanno tallied 31 ground balls caused 18 turnovers this season. She also netted two game-winning goals.

Hartge finished the 2012 season with nine goals and two assists. She led the team in ground balls with 61. Hartge forced 36 turnovers this season, which ranks fifth on the single-season records list. She also ranked third on the team in draw controls with 57.

Wager tallied 77 total points this season, scoring 53 goals and dishing out 24 assists. She ranked third on the team in ground balls (49) and second in draw controls (58). Wager caused 33 turnovers which ranks eighth on the single-season records list. She topped the team with 12 free-position goals and netted three game-winners.

The Maroons finished the season with a record of 11-7 and a 7-2 mark in the ODAC. Roanoke's season ended in ODAC Championship game, after falling to #15 ranked Washington and Lee.
