The Lead: Randolph-Macon scored three goals in the last 5:35 of the game to snare a 13-12 ODAC Semifinal win over Roanoke on Saturday.
How it Happened:
- With R-MC leading 3-1, RC went on a 5-1 run with a Hannah Taylor goal making it 6-4 with seven minutes to play in the first-half.
- After the Yellow Jackets scored twice to make it 6-6, Katie Clements scored with 1:15 to go in the half to send RC to the intermission up 7-6.
- R-MC scored 44 seconds into the second-half to tie the game, before RC reeled off three straight goals, taking a 10-7 lead on a Clements goal with 19 minutes to go.
- After a Lilly Blair goal made it 12-10 RC with 5:50 to go in the game, R-MC would score three times, the final goal coming off the stick of Hannah Jones with 21 seconds left.
- Each team had 37 shots on the day. RC's Carly Schoudel made 12 saves, while Elicia Wells made 20 stops for R-MC.
- For their efforts, Katie Clements and Emerson Foster were named to the All-Tournament Team.
- Roanoke finishes the year with a 12-7 record.
