How it Happened:

• After a scoreless first half, Washington & Lee scored what proved to be the game winner 69:22 minutes into the match. 
• In the 78th minute, play was stopped for 45 minutes due to a severe thunder storm.
• The Generals held a 13-4 advantage in shots and a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks
• Goalkeeper Chris Martin recorded seven saves on the day for the Maroons with five coming in the second half
• Linnea Kremer led Roanoke offense with two shots while Courtney Yoke and Megan Branigan contributed one apiece
