How it Happened:

  • The match stayed scoreless through halftime and into the second-half including in the 51st minute when Emily Whitaker, Courtney Yoke and Sara Celec hit the post on three consecutive shots.
  • Following a foul, RC set up for free kick just outside the box that Whitaker appeared to be going to take but she instead slid a pass to Kremer who sent a right-footed shot into the left-side of the net and past Ferrum keeper Taylor Dodson.
