The Lead: Roanoke used a pair of second-half goals to earn a 2-0 win over Guilford on the road Wednesday night. 

How it Happened:

• After a scoreless first half, Laura Garbarini scored what proved to be the game-winner off the rebound of a header from Meagan Ryan at the 59-minute mark.
• Hailey Davis doubled RC's lead with less than two minutes left in regulation off a long pass from Laura Sullivan to secure the 2-0 win.
• Roanoke owned a 28-4 advantage in shots against the Quakers, with 14 coming in each half. The Maroons also took the only six corner kicks on the night.
• Chris Martin made two saves in the net while Cheyenne Grim made 13 saves in goal for Guilford.
