How it Happened
- The match was scoreless after the first half of play and into the 56th minute when Rachel Cooke set up Kennedy Jakubek for the first goal of the game.
- The Hornets doubled their advantage less than four minutes later when Georgie Duggan took a pass from Emily Maxell and scored to make it 2-0 at the 59:29 mark.
- Roanoke was able to get on the board in the 87th minute when Ellie Schad assisted Tori Young on a goal to make it a 2-1 contest.
- LC held a 15-4 edge in shots, while Chris Martin made four saves in net for the Maroons.
- The Maroons finish the season with 11 wins, marking the 10th time in the last 12 years RC has posted 10 or more wins in a season.
