RC Women's Soccer Ranked in South Atlantic Region Poll

SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke Women's Soccer Team is ranked 10th in this week's United Soccer Coaches South Atlantic Region Poll.

RC is currently 6-2-1 on the season following a scoreless draw at Bridgewater on Tuesday. The Maroons only losses have come against Johns Hopkins which is ranked No. 5 nationally and McDaniel which is ranked No. 10 in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Roanoke has posted five shut outs on the season. Goalkeeper Chris Martin has a 0.57 goals against average for the season, while Hailey Davis and Kathryn Van Orden have each scored a team-best three goals on the season.

RC is home Saturday when it hosts Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. during the College's Family Weekend.
