SALEM, Va. -- With stores already starting back-to-school specials, before Roanoke women's soccer fans know it, the 2023 season will be here. 

This season's schedule features several familiar opponents, a 10-game ODAC schedule, and nearly entire month at home. 

The Maroons kick off the 2023 season by hosting the Roanoke Invitational Sept. 1-2 with contests against Penn St.-Harrisburg and Grove City. A week later, Roanoke will travel for its only games away from Kerr Stadium in September with a pair of non-conference contests against Oglethorpe and Piedmont, hosted by Piedmont. A non-conference game against Lynchburg and a pair games against USA South members Pfeiffer and Mary Baldwin wrap-up all but one non-conference matches.

However, the Maroons begin ODAC play with a trio of home contests starting with Randolph-Macon on Family Weekend, Ferrum in a mid-week matchup, and finish with Randolph for Senior Day; also finishing with nine-straight games at home in September.

Roanoke will play its first road contest at Shenandoah and then play at cross-town rival Hollins before returning home for a home game against Guilford. A trio of road contests at Eastern Mennonite, Washington and Lee, and non-conference opponent Christopher Newport await before the Maroons take on Averett at home in their annual Cancer Awareness Game. A visit to Bridgewater wraps up the regular season before the 2023 ODAC Tournament kicks off Oct. 31.
