The Lead: The Women earned 124 points for second place and the Men scored 47 for fifth place at the 2018 ODAC Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday in Salem. Quinn Harlan was named the Women's Rookie of the Year.

Women's Highlights:

  • Quinn Harlan clocked the second-fastest time in all time Dlll history in the 60M with a 7.46 to finish atop the leaderboards. Her time of 7.46 also marks a new school and ODAC record.
  • Harlan followed her first-place performance with a second place finish in the 200M with a time of 25.67.
  • Jennifer Calascione set a school record, en route to a first-place finish, in the shot put with a mark of 12.70m.
  • Jayna Jean-Jules took home first place in the weight throw with a mark of 13.87m.
  • Lindsey Baxter stood atop the podium in the pole vault with a mark of 3.24m followed by Claire Trotto in third with a 3.22m.
  • Mara Briggs finished first in the high jump with a mark of 1.63m. Alison Moreau tied for fifth with a 1.52m.
  • In the DMR, Nora DeBoer, Saja Alexander, Caleigh McKay and Jennifer Barthol earned a third-place finish with a time of 13:40.08.
  • Bailey Parks finished second in the triple jump with a score of 11.23m.
  • Claire Aurand clocked a 7.94 in the in the 60M finals to earn a spot on the podium in third. 
  • Bridgewater claimed the women's title with 145 points.

Men's Highlights:

  • The quartet of Athey Crump, Paul Houston, Zach Dalton and Devyn Heron finished third in the distance medley relay with a time of 10:58.41.
  • Kevin Waterman finished third in the 800M, clocking a 2:01.67.
  • In the pole vault, Corbin Turner took the silver with a mark of 4:00m followed by Dillon Kopec in fifth with a 3.70m.
  • Kyle Bland finished sixth in the weight throw after tossing a 12.93M. 
  • Xavier O'Brien took sixth in the 60M Hurdle finals with a time of 8.76.
  • In the 5000M, Howard Daniels led Roanoke with a fourth-place finish with a time of 16:02.76. Tyler Barrett followed in seventh with a time of 16:41.64.
  • Washington and Lee won the men's title with 169.5 points.
