Meet: Maroons Final Qualifier
Location: Salem. Va. | Cregger Center
The Lead: Roanoke Track & Field hosted the Maroons Final Qualifier Saturday afternoon in Salem.
Highlights:
- Mara Briggs set a new school record in the high jump with a mark of 1.69. She currently is tied for eighth in all of Dlll in the high jump.
- Claire Trotto and Lindsey Baxter both competed in the pole vault each finishing with a mark of 3.30m.
- In the triple jump, Bailey Parks finished with a mark of 10.69m followed by Trotto with a 9.73m. DeBoer went on to finished the 800m in 2:36.44.
- Ryan Wilson clocked a 17:50.48 in the 5000m while Nora DeBoer finished the mile in 5:59.82.
- Alison Moreau led the 60m with a time of 8.29 followed by Parks with an 8.48.
- Brittany Mallette crossed the finish line in the 200m in 30.20.
