Meet: W&L Carnival

The Lead: Track & Field opened the 2018 outdoor at the W&L Carnival Friday and Saturday in Lexington, Va.
WOMENS RESULTS | MEN'S RESULTS
Women's Highlights:
- Bailey Parks won the triple jump with a mark of 10.90m. Parks also won the long jump with a mark of 5.14m.
- Jennifer Calascione took second in the discus with a mark of 37.09m along with a third place finish in the shot put with a 11.06m.
- In the pole vault, Elleri Vitwar tied for sixth with a mark of 3.05m.
- Alison Moreau tied for fifth in the 100m with a time of 13.36 and Saja Alexander took 8th with a 13.43.
- Claire Aurand also tied for fifth in the 200m with a time of 27.04.
- Alexander, Aurand, Moreau and Parks finished second in the 4x100m relay with a time of 51.07.
Men's Highlights:
- In the 110m hurdles, Tanner Burton took fourth with a time of 15.86 followed by Xavier O'Brien in 8th with a time of 16.41.
- Ray finished seventh in the 400m clocking a 50.87 and 10th in the 200m with a 23.21 followed by Burton in 11th with a 23.29.
- O'Brien crossed the finish line of the 400m hurdles in 58.68 for 9th place followed by Aaron Rogers in 13th with a 59.48.
